The 2021 Andesol, Ink Grade's Zinfandel-based blend, turned out beautifully. Crushed flowers, red berry fruit, mint, spice and orange peel are all beautifully delineated. This is an especially elegant and refined wine. I admire the precision here.

The 2021 Andesol is a Zinfandel-based blend, with dollops of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. Aromatic and deep, the 2021 is super-expressive. There's plenty of tannin, but layers of fruit and a more moderate approach to extraction yield a wine that balances mountain structure with a good bit of immediacy. Crushed red berry fruit, pipe tobacco, cedar, mint and licorice linger.
