Note di degustazione
The 2017 Pinot Noir Gaps Crown Vineyard comes from a great site on the Sonoma Coast and is all from the 667 clones and spent 16 months in 65% new French oak. There are only 125 cases, but it’s beautifully done, showing a ruby hue, notes of blackberries, orange blossom, and violets, medium body, and silky, polished tannins. I love its balance, and it’s another beautiful wine to enjoy over the coming decade.

From Dijon 115 and 777 clones, the 2017 Pinot Noir Gap's Crown was fermented with native yeasts and aged 16 months in 65% new French oak. Medium ruby-purple, it opens with savory notes of fried spices, black tea and baking bread over a core of warm black cherries, black raspberries and fragrant soil plus a touch of fallen leaves. The latent floral perfume emerges on the medium to full-bodied palate, contributing great fragrance to all the savory black and red fruit, finishing long and layered. 125 cases were made.
