2019 Robert Foley Claret

Based on 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, and the rest Petit Verdot, the 2019 Claret offers a ripe, full-bodied, incredibly impressive style to go with rocking levels of cassis and darker berry fruits, ripe, velvety tannins, some background espresso and chocolatey oak nuances, and the mouthfilling, layered profile of the vintage that makes it already impossible to resist. It's a brilliant bottle of wine that brings plenty of classic Foley richness, depth, and opulence. I'd gladly drink a bottle today yet see no reason this shouldn t cruise for 15-20 years if well stored.
