2002 Radio-Coteau Pinot Noir Savoy

Bright medium red. Vibrant aromas of raspberry, strawberry, green tea and underbrush. Dense, large-scaled and lush, with sweet, complex, sappy flavors of raspberry, chocolate and underbrush. Impressively, with aeration this wine seemed to grow thicker on the back half without losing its tang. Finishes very long, with some sweet oak tannins and notes of wild strawberry and raspberry. I would have picked this blind as a wine from the southern end of the Cote de Nuits.
