Note di degustazione
The 2017 Pinot Noir Dutton Ranch offers more complexity with a darker slant to its fruit. Black cherries, smoked earth, ground herbs, and forest floor notes all flow to a medium to full-bodied Pinot Noir that has plenty of texture, integrated acidity, and outstanding length. This is another high-quality, pleasure bent effort from this estate. 961 cases.

The 2017 Pinot Noir Dutton Ranch is bold, racy and exuberant, displaying plenty of Russian River intensity. Black cherry, plum, spice, French oak, torrefaction and cola flesh out as this deep, resonant Pinot shows off its personality. The aromatics and tannins could both use a bit more polish, but some of that may come in bottle.
Pale to medium ruby-purple, the 2017 Pinot Noir Dutton Ranch opens with vanilla bean and nutmeg over warm red and black cherries and berries, spiced cranberry sauce, dried tea leaves and earthy touches. Light to medium-bodied with warm, spiced red fruits in the mouth, it has soft, grainy tannins and juicy acidity, finishing spicy.
