A rich but transparent red, the 2021 Pinot Noir Van Der Kamp Vineyard is from volcanic clay soils at a 1200-foot elevation and reveals deeply layered aromas of pure cherry liqueur, pressed flowers, and incense. Full-bodied, with more iron-richness on the palate, it leans to the angular side of Siduri, with woodsy spice, tangy plummy fruit, and notes of black tea. Drink it over the next 5-6 years.
