2009 Domaine Vincent Dureuil-Janthial Rully Meix Cadot Vieilles Vignes 1er Cru

Fleshy and gourmand, the 2009 Rully 1er Cru Meix Cadot Vieilles Vignes offers up aromas of orange oil, apricot, ripe orchard fruit, beeswax and buttery pastry. Medium to full-bodied, rich and textural, with a deep and enveloping core of fruit, succulent acids and a heady finish, it's reminiscent of a somewhat less muscular, concentrated version of Dureuil's 2015. This was harvested on September 11.
