(70% cabernet and 30% syrah) Glass-staining ruby. Powerfully scented bouquet of ripe cherry and dark berries, espresso, vanilla and cola qualities. Verges on porty in the mouth, offering sweet red and dark berry compote flavors and a thick, velvety texture. This will be too much for some but fans of deep, rich New World reds should give it a shot; gently tangy minerality on the finish saves it from heading off the cliff.
