1998 Rolland Maillet

Medium-deep ruby. Cooler, spicy aromas of dark berries and mint. Sweet and easygoing, with attractive berry flavors and pliant texture. But on the light side, without quite enough density to completely buffer its acids and tannins. This should be nicely suited for early drinking.
