Note di degustazione
Including a splash of Malbec (3%), the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is impressive, in a young, primordial sort of way. Inky hued with unevolved notes of cassis, blueberries, graphite, lead pencil, and tobacco, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a balanced, layered mouthfeel, terrific purity, and a great finish. It needs 4-6 years of bottle age, but it’s a beautiful wine.

Composed of 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Malbec, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon 20th Anniversary Bottling displays a deep garnet-purple color and bold scents of crème de cassis, blackberry preserves and black cherry compote with fragrant wafts of underbrush, lavender, chocolate box and wild sage. The full-bodied palate is densely packed with bright, energetic black fruits, supported by firm, grainy tannins and bold freshness, finishing long with loads of floral and mineral sparks.
