1996 Pine Ridge Epitome Red

Only 305 cases were produced of the 1996 Epitome (a Bordeaux-like blend). Dark ruby with purple nuances, the complex aromatics offer scents of black currants, lead pencil, oak, and flowers. The wine displays pure symmetry between its building blocks of tannin, acidity, alcohol, and extract. Sweet ripeness, a velvety texture, medium body, and outstanding purity and concentration result in a brilliant Bordeaux look-alike from Napa's Stags Leap area.
