2005 Chasseur Pinot Noir Russian River

Medium red. Smoky cherry and red berry preserve aromas, with subtle tobacco, cocoa and black tea qualities building with air. Weighty dark berry and bitter cherry flavors stain the palate and become sweeter on the close, which features serious grip and a bite of tannins. Aeration benefited this wine tremendously.
