2011 Cédric Bouchard (Roses de Jeanne) La Presle

The 2011 Blanc de Noirs Presle is deep, powerful and resonant. Apricot, baked apple, pastry, dried flowers and lightly honeyed notes all take shape in the glass. A wine of depth and gravitas, the Presle is still tightly wound and in need of time, but it is without question one of the stronger wines in this lineup up of 2011s. Tasted two times with some variation.
