The 2015 Vosne-Romanée Les Chalandrins is powerful, rich and explosive. Dark cherry, plum, spice, licorice, menthol, crème de cassis and leather infuse a deep, creamy wine endowed with notable texture. This is another overachiever at the village level. - Antonio Galloni

The 2015 Vosne-Romanée Les Chalandins has a fresh boysenberry and briary-scented bouquet with just a touch of reduction. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannin, quite masculine but perhaps needing a little more flesh to come through on the finish? I hope so.
