(23% residual sugar) Pineappley fruit salad and spices on the slightly syrupy nose. Then dense and tactile in the mouth, with penetrating acidity and a touch of botrytis character giving tangy lift to the fruit salad, spice and honey flavors. Not at all an overly unctuous style thanks to its very good acid/sugar balance. Finishes sweet, thick and quite long, with good verve. A very successful vintage for this sweet wine.
