The 2009 Crianza is a blend of 75% Tinta Fino, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot raised in 225-liter French oak casks for 18 months. It has a slightly smudged bouquet that gains more clarity with aeration, offering scents of creme de cassis, dark chocolate, plum and a whiff of alcohol. The palate is full-bodied with a smooth chocolaty entry. It is very lush, with precocious toasty dark fruit leading to a powerful finish. Drink 2013-2020.
