Orange blossom, honeyed peach, stone fruits, and toasted bread notes all emerge from the 2022 Chardonnay, a beautiful Chardonnay from Carneros. Medium-bodied, fresh, and focused on the palate, it has integrated acidity, a clean, pure style, and outstanding length. Drink over the next 4-6 years.

The largest volume wine produced by Hudson, there are more than 1,500 cases of the 2022 Chardonnay Estate, all Old Wente from four blocks, barrel fermented and aged 18 months in 65% new French oak (François Frères and Damy). Subtle toast and struck flint notes mark the nose, adding intrigue to the pineapple-like fruit. It's medium to full-bodied, ripe, opulent and creamy in feel, with a long, harmonious and even velvety-textured finish.
