2008 Lanson Noble Cuvee Blanc de Blancs

Disgorged in January 2025 with a dosage of 6 grams per liter, the 2008 Champagne Blanc de Blancs Noble Vintage pours a medium yellow hue and has great structure. It's long and mouthwatering on the palate, with notes of preserved lemon, fresh pastry dough, almond powder, and salty mineral earth. It also has a lot of tension and nerve, as well as a delicate mousse that accents its salty spice and mouthwatering depth and persistence. Really delicious now, it should drink well over the next few decades if stored properly, but take extra caution, since it's bottled in clear glass. Drink 2027-2050.
