2004 Seavey Merlot

The current library release, the 2004 Merlot is based on 75% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the rest Petit Verdot that was brought up in French oak. It offers a deep plum color as well as a powerful bouquet of mulled blackcurrants, chocolate, tobacco leaf, and loamy earth. With medium to full body, plenty of sweet fruit, and still ample mid-palate depth, it's mature yet still drinking beautifully.
