From the part of this large premier cru that touches the route des grands crus, the 2022 Gevrey-Chamberitn 1er Cru Les Combottes delivers aromas of cherries and cassis mingled with potpourri and spices. Medium to full-bodied, rich and enveloping, it's one of the fleshier, more broad-shouldered wines in the range.
