(14.3% alcohol): Good, full ruby-red. Dark aromas of cassis, blackberry and licorice. Plush, intense and sweet, but with terrific acid grip energizing the juicy flavors of currant and tobacco. A step up in density and texture from the State Ranch bottling. Finishes long and precise, with suave tannins and lush yet vibrant dark berry fruit. A great showing today.
