Note di degustazione
The 2020 Meursault Le Porusot 1er Cru has a patina of new oak on the nose, though it is proportionate with the fruit underneath and will assimilate with time. Hazelnut, almond and white flower aromas appear with time. The palate is medium-bodied with a citrus-fresh opening. A silver thread of acidity imparts tension and energy. Very complex on the finish, this fans out wonderfully in the glass, and I am fascinated to see how this develops in bottle. Another white Burgundy from 2020 that has kicked on since I tasted it from barrel. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting.

The 2020 Meursault Le Porusot 1er Cru was tasting from unfiltered and filtered vats. It has a tightly-wound bouquet with touches of grass clippings, earthy scents, dewy meadow filtering through the citrus fruit. The palate is well balanced, energetic on the entry, one of the most saline of the Domaine's cuvées with a nice bite on the finish. Very fine.
