2019 Mazis Chambertin

The 2019 Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru is another tiny cuvée chez Charlopin. Exhibiting aromas of peonies, plums, rich spices, orange rind and oak vanillin, it's full-bodied, multidimensional and concentrated, with powdery tannins and lively acids, concluding with a long, perfumed finish. This will need a little time to knit together, but it's one of the best wines in the range.
