Note di degustazione
Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep garnet-purple color and delivers impactful scents of crème de cassis, baked plums and boysenberry preserves with suggestions of spice cake, Christmas pudding, potpourri and incense. Full-bodied, the palate is pleasantly savory with a nice chewiness to the texture and plenty of freshness to support, finishing long and meaty. 415 cases were made.

There are 415 cases of the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon, which is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 28 months in French oak. Made by the team of Philippe Melka, this deep purple-hued beauty boasts a great nose of crème de cassis and blackberry fruits as well as classic Cabernet graphite, spice, tobacco, and a kiss of cedar. Concentrated, balanced, and just beautifully done, it’s a 2017 that’s well worth seeking out.
The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is a very beautiful wine. Inky, unctuous, this opulent Cabernet packs a serious punch. Blackberry jam, crème de cassis, chocolate, new leather and sweet French oak build as this exotic, sumptuous Cabernet shows off its flamboyant personality.
The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is another heady, exotically ripe 2017 from Roy Estate, redolent of blackberry jam, menthol, licorice, grilled herbs, smoke and new leather. Even with all of its richness, the 2017 has just enough energy to give the wine focus and brightness.
