1992 Cain Five Proprietary Red

Fashioned from a Bordeaux-styled blend of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 9% Malbec, 3% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Petit Verdot, this wine exhibits a saturated dark ruby color, and a spicy, reserved, earthy nose with intriguing scents of oak and black fruits. Medium-bodied, elegant, and tannic, this is a backward, but impressively proportioned wine. Additional bottle age should result in more flesh and intensity, as well as higher rating.
