Deep brilliant red. Fresh blackberry, cherry liqueur, vanilla and a hint of peppery spices on the deeply perfumed nose. Sweet, palate-coating red and blue fruit and mocha flavors pick up floral pastille and vanilla notes with aeration. Shows a suave, velvety texture and turns spicier on an impressively long, youthfully tannic finish that echoes the vanilla note.

The 2015 Reserve Pinot Noir has a pale to medium ruby-purple color and a chocolate-covered cherries and black raspberry-scented nose with hints of bay leaves and damp soil. Medium-bodied, the mid-palate is just a little hollow, with rather clipped flavors and a drying finish.
