2014 Dierberg Pinot Noir Estate

Made by Tyler Thomas, the 2014 Pinot Noir Estate is a beauty. Coming from the estate vineyard outside of Santa Maria, it gives up impressive notes of scorched earth, pepper, herbs and spice, with a core of currant and dark fruits. This medium-bodied, nicely textured effort has fine tannin, good mid-palate depth, and a supple, medium length finish. It’s a downright pretty, elegant Pinot Noir to drink over the coming 5-7 years.
