(90% tempranillo and 10% syrah) Deep red. Smoky, ripe aromas of cherry liqueur, blackberry and tobacco are just this side of roasted. Lush and fleshy, the dark fruit flavors showing an exotic spice quality, with notes of floral oil and incense. Fleshy, broad and long on the finish, the supple tannins giving focus to the ripe cherry, candied plum and cured tobacco flavors. I'd err on the side of youth with this.
