This tasty, delicious 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon from Rutherford Hill suggests that the quality of these wines has jumped significantly under the ownership of the large Chicago-based company, Terlato Wines International. This is a seductive, fleshy and consumer-friendly style of Cabernet Sauvignon that might be even better than I’ve rated it. Nevertheless, it’s fully mature, complex, with chocolaty, berry and blackcurrant fruit, lush tannins and low acidity. Drink it over the next 7-8 years.
