Full bottle 1,167 g. From Austin’s vineyard at the winery. Organically grown. Aged for 20 months in French oak, 50% new. 675 cases produced. Juicy, toasty nose draws you in. Quite sweet start and then fine tannins. A rather attractive sinewy wine that seems rather underpriced. Very healthy and straightforward. No great complexity but great balance and savour, and sufficient tannin to continue for quite a while. QGV (JR)

A step up from the regular Estate Grown version, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Miljenko’s Selection delivers similarly classic notes of black cherries, dusty earth and cassis, yet it's a bit fuller and more layered with silky tannins. There's more textural richness here, yet with the ripeness kept in check, there's a certain varietal austerity, coupled with ample length on the finish.
A medium-bodied red with aromas of dark plums, currants, dried herbs and some cedar. Fine, firm tannins with a grainy texture in the middle and in the chewy finish. Try after 2025.
