Note di degustazione
Glistening ruby-red. Potent red fruit liqueur, potpourri, incense and smoky mineral scents are complemented by hints of mocha and exotic spices. Attractively sweet and lively on the palate, offering densely packed raspberry, mulberry, cherry cola, spicecake and floral pastille flavors supported by a strong undercurrent of zesty minerality. Polished tannins frame and shape a powerful, mineral-driven finish that lingers with outstanding persistence and alluring sweetness.

Pale to medium ruby-purple, the 2017 Pinot Noir Edition Limitee has a savory nose of clove, dried orange peel, potpourri, allspice, cured meats, dried herbs, peppercorn and forest floor with a core of blackberries, red currants and black cherries. Medium-bodied and silky, it offers intense, spiced fruits and amaro notions, knit by firm, grainy tannins and juicy acidity, finishing long.
A symphony of complexity on the nose with such expressive spice and complex character that reflects the engineering and all the fragrance of the vintage. Thereâs a 30% whole-cluster component here that makes for a distinctive edge. The palate has lacy yet strong tannin and a deep-set, flavorsome feel with such long, rich fruit presence, carrying deep on the finish. Try from 2023 and for a decade after that.
