2011 Blackbird Arriviste Rosé

(from a blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot and cabernet franc): Pale watermelon-pink color. Musky strawberry and fresh herbs on the nose, along with a cool floral element. Rich, fine-grained and dry, with subtle flavors of ripe red berries and dusty herbs. Offers a splendid combination of breadth and delicacy for California pink wine. Finishes with a light dusting of tannins and excellent rising persistence. This rich but very subtle rose should be particularly useful at the dinner table.
