The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Block 11 (The Vow) is sweet, rich and thick, with massive concentration of fruit and copious sweet oak. What makes this Rutherford so distinctive? I can only tell you that because I tasted the wine from barrel. In bottle, very little of this site's pedigree comes through. Still, the quality of this site is so high that The Vow is the best of the three Cabernets in the Gravel Series.
