Ripe, round, forward, lush and packed with black and red cherries, earth and leafy herbs, this is going to offer pleasure on release, yet provide the ability to age for over a decade as well. This is a nice value wine from the Left Bank. Drink from 2023-2035.

The 2020 Pontoise Cabarrus (not a name that trips off the tongue easily) has quite an opulent nose with blueberry, menthol and desiccated orange peel scents. The palate is medium-bodied with a fleshy opening. This is a voluminous, quite broad-shouldered Cru Bourgeois and it just pulls it off, retaining freshness on the peppery finish. Afford it a couple of years in bottle.
Good structure, Médoc typicity, dark fruits and eucalyptus, this is serious and understated if a little angular. Located in St Seurin de Cadourne, same owners as Domaine Tereygeol.
A juicy and savory red with bark, oyster shell, currant and orange peel aromas and flavors. Not a super structured young wine but shows length and energy. Very fine. Give it four years to soften. Try in 2026.
