The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain is riveting stuff, with a perfumed, juicy, full-bodied profile that just about jumps out of the glass. Lots of red plums, blue fruits, violets, and spring flower notes, as well as some bouquet garni, define the aromatics, and it has beautiful tannins, the pure, focused, elegant style of the vintage, and the class to evolve for 15-20 years in cold cellars.

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain is an attractive, savory wine. Cedar, tobacco, mint, dried herbs, incense and licorice give the 2021 attractive aromatic presence. Slender and nuanced, this is a wine that emphasizes complexity more than volume. It's another beautifully rendered offering from Tony Arcudi.
