2009 Domaine Roty Marsannay

Good deep red with ruby tones. The nose shows an almost roasted aspect to the black cherry aroma. A dense, fat fruit bomb on the palate, with ripe acidity and strong phenolics framing the black cherry and licorice flavors. Just a bit liqueur-like on the slightly aggressive finish.
