The 1995 Barolo Arborina reveals a deeply saturated ruby color in addition to an attractive nose of sweet black cherry liqueur, dried herbs, tobacco, and cedar scents. Lush and sexy, with medium to full body, an alluring texture, low acidity, and an evolved, complex style, it can be savored over the next 6-8 years. Slightly less deep color. Fruitier but less complex aromas of cherry and menthol. Firmer on entry, but still soft and sweet, with lovely vibrant fruit. Perhaps the most concentrated and youthfully unevolved of these '95s, not to mention the longest. Finishes with good grip and firm tannins.
