Note di degustazione
Based on 80% Grenache with 10% Syrah, 5% Mourvèdre, and 5% Cinsault, the 2023 Châteauneuf Du Pape comes from the galets roulés and brown clay/loamy terroirs of the Croix de Bois, Pied Redon, and Valori lieux-dits and was aged 12 months in a mix of demi-muids, older barrique, and stainless steel. Offering sweet red and black fruits intermixed with pepper, spice, and classic Provençal garrigue, this well-made, medium-bodied effort has good balance and an enjoyable, approachable style. Drink 2025-2035.

The 2023 Chateauneuf du Pape from Chateau Mont Thabor is a lovely wine that begins with aromas of rose, dark berries, dark cherries and orchard fruits. Medium- to full-bodied, enveloping and harmonious, it’s seamless and layered with a joint core of fruit framed bright tannins. Concluding with a long, ethereal finish, it’s a blend of 80% Grenache Noir, 10% Syrah, 5% Mourvèdre and 5% Cinsault.
Smoky red fruits and spicy undertones present the 2023 Châteauneuf-du-Pape, a modestly concentrated, modern take on the appellation that finalizes with a touch of cedar.
80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 5% Mourvèdre, 5% Cinsault. Aged for 6 months in demi-muids (50%), old barriques (30%) and stainless-steel tank (20%). Certified organic. Cask/tank sample. Tasted blind. Waxy nose with bright red fruits, raspberry. The palate is taut and tight with tannins that need time to settle into the wine and the fruit. Layered and broad finish. (AC)
