Note di degustazione
The 2015 Estate Chardonnay has a lemon marmalade and grapefruit peel nose with hints of fresh hay and preserved kumquat. Medium-bodied, it has an oxidative character with plenty of toasty/nutty flavors, a satiny texture and a long, savory finish.

A layered and fresh white with cooked apples, honey and straw. Medium- to full- bodied, creamy and textured wine with fresh and pretty fruit. From organically grown grapes. Drink now.
Vivid straw. Pungent Meyer lemon and yellow apple scents show very good clarity and complicating hints of tarragon and smoky lees. Minerally and precise on the palate, offering zesty pear and lime flavors and deeper suggestions of buttered toast and honey that build on the back half. Shows very good energy and finishes silky and long, with a subtle floral nuance hanging on.
The 2015 Chardonnay Old Vines from Eyrie Vineyards is spectacular. Displaying notes of Beeswax and fennel on the nose, it delivers a Rhône-like allure and is armed with genuine complexity, hints of lanolin evolving in the glass. The palate is fresh thanks to a brisk line of acidity—a textural wine with a waxy mouthfeel. Hints of green olive and peach skin build towards the captivating finish. This is ageing beautifully. Tasted at the 05/15 Burgundy dinner in The Good Earth.
