With an inky purple color and heavenly notes of blackcurrants, crushed rocks, charcoal, espresso roast and toasty oak, this full-bodied, deep, concentrated 2014 has no hard edges, ultra-fine tannin, and sensational mid-palate depth. More like a 2013 than a 2014, it needs to be forgotten for 4-5 years and will keep for 2+ decades.
