Note di degustazione
The 2014 Syrah The Hedge Willow Creek District has a medium ruby color and scents of dried red cherries, cranberries and blackberries with touches of truffle, leather and pipe tobacco. Full-bodied with powerful, gently chew tannins and rounded freshness, it's just nearing its peak with savory fruits and a minty finish.

The 2014 Syrah The Hedge from Terry Hoage is 100% Syrah that spent 18 months in 40% new French oak. It's a straight up delicious, sumptuous red that's about as drinkable as they come. Blackberries, currants, spice, dried herbs and hints of leather all flow to a full-bodied, impeccably balanced Syrah that's loaded with fruit and texture, yet never seems heavy or cumbersome. It's going to keep for a decade. As with most top estates in 2014, Jennifer and Terry Hoage’s TH Estate has produced a bevy of brilliant wines. In addition, they’ve created a new Decroux label focused on Pinot Noir, and those are certainly worth you attention as well.
