All Bien Nacido Syrah aged 30 months in new French oak, the 2017 Syrah Bien Nacido offers a powerful, intense style in its marine-influenced black fruits, chocolate, toasted spice, and cured meat-like aromas and flavors. With its foot firmly on the ripeness pedal, it stays nicely balanced, offering full-bodied richness, ripe tannins, and a great finish. I wouldn't push the aging curve, but it will certainly deliver loads of pleasure over the coming 4-6 years.
