2017 Chionetti Dolcetto di Dogliani Briccolero

The 2017 Dogliani Briccolero is gorgeous. Pliant and yet also quite structured, the 2017 has so much to offer. It is also incredibly young and in need of time to open up to develop its full range of aromas and flavors. Inky red/purplish berry fruit, licorice, spices, and menthol are nicely expressive, while beams of tannin extend the finish nicely. The Briccolero finishes with terrific energy and floral-infused brightness.
