Note di degustazione
The 2017 Pinot Noir Eola Springs Vineyard offers a Côte de Nuit-like bouquet of black cherries, earth, ground herbs, and even a touch of meaty, bacony notes. This carries to a medium-bodied Pinot Noir that has good concentration, a firm, focused texture, fine tannins, and beautiful length. There’s a slight rusticity here, but it works with the style of the wine, and this is incredibly satisfying. I suspect a year or two will do it well and it should keep for a decade.

The 2017 Pinot Noir Eola Springs Vineyard is a wine that speaks with real distinction. Whole clusters play a significant role in giving the wine terrific aromatic lift and presence. Crushed flowers, dried herbs, rose petal, mint and sweet red berry fruit are all laced together in this pretty, nuanced Pinot. There is so much to admire in the Eola Springs.
This has deep-red to purple color with ripe red cherries and quite forthright, attractive oak spice, wrapped into the mix with a deep dive of dark cherries and berries. This has a long, smooth build. Drink or hold.
