Note di degustazione
Bright ruby. Expressive red berry and cherry aromas are complicated by hints of candied lavender, anise and smoky minerals. Juicy raspberry and spicecake flavors show appealing sweetness and a smoky mineral undertone that gains power with air. Offers an attractive blend of power and vivacity, finishing with gentle tannic grip, a hint of sweet oak spices and very good persistence.

The 2013 Châteauneuf du Pape is a blend of 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre and the rest an assortment of permitted varieties. Aged 15 months in small barrels and older foudres, it has a modern edge in its cassis, toasted bread and black raspberry-laced bouquet. This gives way to a medium-bodied, elegant, yet straightforward and narrow palate that has lively acidity and a clean finish. Drink it over the coming 5-7 years.
Deep ruby. Lively red and dark berry scents show very good clarity, picking up notes of woodsmoke and garrigue with air. Juicy black raspberry and bitter cherry flavors coat the palate, with tangy acidity and a hint of white pepper providing energy. Rich yet lively Châteauneuf with strong finishing thrust and smooth, late-arriving tannins.
