Note di degustazione
The 2013 Pinot Noir Akiko’s Cuvee has another Sonoma Coast/Sonoma appellation. It again, has that rather attractive Red Delicious apple-skin note, pomegranate, black cherry, sandalwood and spice. It has a medium-bodied, moderately saturated, rusty/ruby color, and is round and juicy. A premier cru from France comes to mind tasting this. Drink now-2020.

Crushed flowers, mint, tobacco, dried herbs and cherries open up nicely in the 2013 Pinot Noir Akiko's Cuvee. Supple, open-knit and inviting, the Akiko's Cuvee shows the mid-weight structure of the year in its understated personality.
Subtle aromatics followed by a structural wine with mouth-watering mid palate carrying into a long creamy finish. Notes of star anise, high-tone red fruit and flower, with pine through the finish, and a saline mineral line. A sense of rugged tannin with pretty flavours. (ECB)
