Deep garnet in color with a hint of purple, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Unfiltered is scented of warm cassis, baked plums and black cherry preserves with wafts of menthol, bay leaves and spice box plus a hint of tobacco. Medium-bodied, the palate delivers a good amount of juicy, relatively uncomplicated fruit with a chewy texture and herbal lift on the finish.
