Note di degustazione
Limpid ruby. Highly fragrant scents of ripe red fruit, baking spices, garrigue and candied flowers; a smoky mineral element builds steadily in the glass. Smooth and seamless on the palate, offering juicy black raspberry, spicecake and floral pastille flavors that convey both depth and vivacity. Closes spicy, gently tannic and long, leaving behind lingering notes of black raspberry, allspice and white pepper.

Kirsch, garrigue, graphite, and spice notes all emerge from the 2016 Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Silky and incredibly elegant on the palate, it's not a blockbuster in the vintage, yet shines for its balance, seamless style, and finish. The blend is 70% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 12% Mourvèdre and the rest Cinsault.
For a fully destemmed wine that registers 15.5% alcohol, the 2016 Chateauneuf du Pape has a decent-sized streak of green peppercorn running through its otherwise ripe-tasting cherry fruit. Full-bodied, tannic and astringent, with some appealing licorice notes on the finish, this blend of 70% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 12% Mourvèdre and 3% Cinsault could use a couple of years to pull itself together.
Bright ruby. Lively and focused on the nose, displaying fresh red and dark berry and floral scents and a hint of garrigue . Juicy, spice-laced black raspberry and cherry flavors are given spine and cut by a core of smoky minerality. Finishes very long and supple, featuring sneaky, rounded tannins and an echo of candied flowers.
