2011 Relic Cabernet Franc The Prior

(76% cabernet franc, 19% cabernet sauvignon and 5% merlot; this fruit was harvested on November 7 at 25 degrees Brix): Good full red. Musky aromas of currant, plum syrup, mocha and tobacco. Sweet on entry, then a bit aggressive and chunky in the middle, showing a chewy texture but little in the way of refinement. Finishes with big tannins. I'm not sure where this can go in bottle.
