2023 Walt Pinot Noir The Corners

Hailing from Anderson Valley, the 2023 Pinot Noir The Corners is a deeply savory, mineral-inflected wine with complexity to burn. It’s not as approachable or fruit-forward as some of the other wines in this range, but it’s a wine I find myself drawn to for its brooding complexity and mysterious personality. Crushed rocks, iodine, rosemary, graphite and dusty floral notes complicate a base layer of red berries and citrus peel. Light on its feet and poised, The Corners is a very good effort in 2023.
